Rich,
You bring back a lot of memories for me. I used a Hornet TB-500 tribander on
a roof mount from 1960 to 1964 and easily worked DXCC running 300 to 500
watts of power.
>From 1972 to 1973 and from 1975 to 1978 I worked a lot of DX using a KW and
a 4-BTV vertical which I still have.

John, W4NU

Thanks to all who replied to my needing a roof mount tripod...I have
procured a couple. Even found a 4ft Glen Martin roof tower that I am
thinking of seriously of obtaining.
Now, for the next antenna want/need: I currently have a Cushcraft R5 in vy
good condx with manual that I was going to erect. However, that antenna does
not cover 40M and I have decided to off-load it and obtain a Hustler 5BTV or
Butternut HF-5(or 6)V to cover the lower bands.
Therefore, does anyone have a trapped vertical or a Butternut vertical that
they want to sell/trade??
Also, anyone need a Cushcraft R5 with docs?
PLEASE contact me off list (k7sz at ARRL dot net) or via L/L: 770-995-4214)
