Y'all gotta love the FCC opening up the requirements to upgrade!  I cannot believe the cluster f_ ck that is amassing on SSB with K5D.  Some of the worst operating etiquette that I have ever heard....wait, what was I thinking, I was listening to 80 meters sideband; there is a reason my rig never sees SSB mode on 80 meters!  The nice change is that the K5D operators seem to be handling the "trash" pretty well.

If it doesn't change, I think I am gonna take a knife and gouge out the ssb button on my 1000.....

I don't need it for a all time new one so I am going to wait until at
least Tuesday. Though I'm anxious
to go listen to the pileup. Just got home from work. I also have
Navassa. I don't have many
in the top 10.
