 Dave,
Really appreciated your comments..! I think you would really like the BPSK31 once someone sits you down and explain a few things. I use the MIXW ver 2.18. At first it seemed complicated, but after getting used to it, much better now.. If just for BPSK31, Digapan is really great, and very simple..Whereas the MIXW program can do about 15 or more digital programs, and that is the reason why a little bit more complicated..
I called a CQ (BPSK31) the other day on 20 meters and I did not hear anyone coming back, but looking on the screen, 4Z4TI, Efran in Sheva, Israel was answering the CQ.. His report was 559 and my report was 599.. I was using ICOM 756 PRO 3 running 20-25 watts into an ''Off-Center Dipole..'' Like you said Dave, you don't hear them, but you see them printing across the screen!! Amazing..!! Lookin' foward to working you Dave on the BPSK31 !! And I would love to hear some of your stories, when you and your dad was operating RTTY in 1965..This was a little off the subject line, but thanks agn..!! Also yesterday I received a ''SWL'' CARD, from Tournes, France who was listening into our conversation I was having with DK2CH in Germany.. ! I cherish the SWL cards more that a RARE DX card !! That made my day!!
Anything I could help you with, just ask..
