My friend Bob (formerly AA4U of Athens GA, now K4RB/6)is in need of a laptop
for an NGO in Sri Lanka.

Over the years Bob and his XYL have been stationed all over the world doing
humanitarian work.
They worked from India, Indonesia, Egypt, Mali, Sri Lanka, Georgia (and I'm
sure I'm forgetting some)
Take a look at the www.tsunami-animal.org web site to see what they're
doing. There is a picture of Bob at the bottom of the "our team"
Page. 

If you have a working surplus laptop, per his needs below, please let me
know and I'll get it to him.

Please keep your eyes open for an unwanted old laptop that has been 
pitched into someone's closet - our little animal welfare NGO in Sri 
Lanka (www.tsunami-animal.org) needs to replace our failing field 
laptop - used for keeping statistics, report writing, etc.  Needs 
minimum of 1 USB port and a CD burner - we have a US address to use 
for shipping.
