About a week ago someone on one of the reflectors
was asking about Silicone Sealing Tape like the
kind SteppIR uses on their antennas.

I had heard it was in the Garden Department and put that out.

NOT SO!!!

But I found it !!!! I found a guy there that knew what he was doing.
It is in the department where they have Duct Tape.
The name is "Stretch & Seal" and is marketed by Nashua
Tape Products. It is made in the USA by 'Covalence Adhesives"
in Franklin, Ky. www.covcorp.com

Looks just like the kind SteppIR uses.
I haven't opened the package yet but, I think it is the same

The store I found it at is the Home Depot at Sandy Plains and
Shallowford Rd. in East Cobb County. They had a whole box of it.

This stuff is great for sealing coax connectors and any
connectors used out doors.
