The breakdown voltage of an air gap capacitor in the real world depends on many things besides spacing-like surface roughness, moisture etc. But can someone point me to a formula or table of rating versus gap? I have seen such a table many times, but can't seem to find one now. I'd hate to have to unearth a physics book. 73 Bob W2WG
