[SEDXC] ham family electrocuted: Police said Palm Bay family electrocuted by antenna accident

PALM BAY — A father, mother and son were electrocuted Monday night while attempting to erect a 50-foot high ham radio antenna in the backyard of a home on Alaska Avenue.

“It happened in an instant,” said Palm Bay Fire Marshal Mike Couture in a statement released overnight. “It is an unfortunate set of circumstances that led to the most tragic result.”
