[SEDXC] Moving Sale - Ham Gear Trades Possible!

Fellow DXers - It seems the rumors are correct and it's pretty much official - we've sold the house, close on October 5th and have to vacate by October 8th. There is much to do and time is short.

Here's a possible way for you to be a "Hero" at home!

The "deal" - it occurred to me that ham gear is much smaller than furniture and thus, except for the weight - much easier to move! So - if you want, or need, to keep peace a home (or just score some great points so you can buy that new rig without harassment), you might consider trading some gear for furniture!  I'm not really looking for anything in particular - but - try me!

We are hoping that some of the furniture items will NOT end up being trucked to Vermont - or - staying here in storage while I cast about.  To that end, I placed some photos with prices on the following site:

As always, I tried to set prices for a quick sale and hope I hit the mark.  Please feel free to spread this site around and we won't be embarrassed by "offers" - but - items will have to be picked up - quickly!

Of MOST CONCERN is the Wurlitzer Upright Piano - Laura just does not want to move it.  There's a nice photo of it on the Picasa site. It works well, is in good tune and sounds great.  If you can give us any leads (selling, donating, etc.) regarding the piano, we would surely appreciate it.

Trading gear for furniture could be fun for you and me.  I hope you will consider it - and, of course, the items could just be purchased as well.
