Today I have heard them on 21.191 (S1 to 2) and 18.073 559. They were
reported on 24.954 between 0800 and 1100 and then on CW and RTTY. 12 never
opened for even the beacons here. They spent a long while working NA
yesterday on 18138 up 5 to 20. I worked them with 100 watts but it was not
easy. Recently it seems the West Coast has better propagation that Atlanta.
They were S1 to 5 and I worked them when they peaked at S5. Later FT5GA was
on 14.192 at S9 listening up 5 plus.

There are still complaints about having hours with no activity spotted and
from 2130 to 0500 there was another no activity period. One G3 told me that
this causes pirates to get on their frequency. Many in the UK and elsewhere
find they must work them again as
they never show in the on line log.

TO7RJ (FH) was on 17 SSB then CW but was only S4 here. He was working West
Coast only and one W6 said he was 59+10. later 9A6R was working West Coast
on 17 and he was just readable here. 4X4FR was 9+ as was EA9IE but the band
seemed
spotty. Signals were loud or weak with no in between.

N5FG reports FT5GA will be in the RTTY contest this weekend so SSB and CW
may not be active.
