[SEDXC] Help - PC

Hello and thanks for reading this post. I need to pick the brain of you
computer guru's out there. My ham computer has been slowly acting up, that
is to say for no apparent reason it would just shut down very fast. Usually
I can power off and back on and it will work fine. Last night it powered off
very quick and I can't resuscitate it..HI!

 

I've checked the voltages at the disk drive pins and find the 12V is there
but no 5 dvc, only a reading of about -.63 vdc. Any thoughts whether this
might be the power supply or possibly the motherboard causing the 5 vdc to
diminish.

 

I apologize to anyone who finds offense with a PC question, but this
computer does all my DX tracking, and station activities..HI
