I used Metal Supermarkets too, just off Canton road in N Cobb.

They cut to dimension, and drilled holes too... extra fee, but not a lot.
The steel I used was pretty low cost.

Metal Super Market or if you want to dig for some stuff try Mid South 
Salvage on Bankhead highway.  Mid South has some aluminum but you never know 
what you are getting.
