It's not the amount but where it's going!  I can't stand that my hard earned funds are going into some politician's slush fund that they can use any way they want; like personal overseas travel with their mistrisses...

This is all hilarious on attitudes. We spend...well, some DXers do,  tens of thousands of dollars on rigs, antennas, towers, etc. Then we complain about a rather small fee which spread over 5 years is about what one coffee at Star Bucks will cost you.
