Had one of our best 6 M openings to Japan I have ever seen.  Doubled the 
number of JA I had ever working in one night.  Had 30 JA in the 1,2,3, and 7 
area.  I had given up seeing anything tonight as they usually start up 
between 22-23 GMT but it was 0037 when they got fair signals and lasted 
until 0135.  All very weak as is the case on this path.  Many 449 but a few 
569.  Maybe a repeat tomorrow night but 6 M is very unstable. There is a 
contest on if you are looking for states this weekend.. the SMIRK contest on 
now and runs to Sunday night.  Exchange grid square and if you have one a 
SMIRK number.
