At our March meeting we got a little off our usual schedule due to problems
with the projector and did not mention the topic of the April meeting. It
is certain to be one of the outstanding ones of the year. Mack, WB4MAK, is
going to present Technology in the Ham Shack. I'm sure you have seen Mack's
postings on his CW Skimmer server, etc. You may also know that over the
last year or so, Mack has managed to eliminate most of the knobs in his
shack through use of various software packages and several SDR radios. Mack
also provides a remote station capability for members of the NFARL club. We
will be visiting Mack's shack remotely during his presentation. Maybe we
will get to see some of the goodies on his test bench, including the cutest,
small, high performance spectrum analyzer available. And maybe he will zoom
in on some of his classic AM gear such as an ART13 he uses regularly-no way
to eliminate the knobs on that machine.

Watch the SEDXC.org web site for more details on the program. Don't miss
this one!
