Chuck, KM4KB and I went down early this afternoon to visit with Dennis and he seemed genuinely happy for our visit.
All things considered, Dennis seemed to be in good spirits and aside from looking a bit frail, he was all "Dennis."
We probably visited for 1/2 an hour or so.
You are right, Dennis is a great guy and I'm glad to have him as a friend.
I'm glad I went, so by all means, go down and visit with Dennis---I'm sure he will appreciate it.

I am sick after hearing about Dennis. He is such a nice guy! He refurbished a chrome Vibroplex for me last fall and he was so thrilled that it turned out looking like a brand new one. I sent him a vintage bug 3 months ago and I knew he was not doing so well at the time. I tried to cheer him up and we spoke many times on the phone and he was always full of hope.
      Does he really want visitors. I would love to drive down to see him soon.
