[SEDXC] KD4QMY - Ga. Power Smart Meter???

SEDXC members,

I received a brochure from Georgia Power regarding the installation of what they are calling  a Smart Meter.  In the brochure it says "your electric meter will be read remotely through communication towers."    Looks to me they're talking radio waves????
 
Should I be concerned about this causing interference to my station? (HF / VHF / UHF)
