[SEDXC] Amateur Radio Youth Scholarship

The SEDXC and the NFARL are proud to announce a scholarship program for graduating high school seniors in 2011 who are licensed radio amateurs and members of one or both of these clubs. 
 
Consideration will be based on, but not limited to the individual’s contribution to either or both sponsoring clubs, to amateur radio in general and to other areas of public/community service, as well as academic achievement.
 
Any funds awarded, which will be distributed by a Scholarship Committee, are intended to assist in the financial obligations of the individual toward their attendance at a college or higher level educational institution beginning in the fall of 2011.  The funds are from the proceeds of the recent HamJam2010 and the amounts awarded will be based on the merit of applications received and the funds available. The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final.

Please note that the deadline for applications received is February 26, 2011 and should be mailed to NFARL – Scholarship, P. O. Box 1741, Roswell, GA 30077.
