I am not sure what you are talking about launcher, but guess that sound 
like similar to hand stringer.

The professional tree service peoples use Big Shot with pole.     It is 
large size of hand stringer.   The length of pole is 8ft long.    Here 
is web site.   I bought one and shipped to a friend in JA.   I did not 
try to use, so I do not know actual use but looks very good.
