[SEDXC] GAQP GEORGIA Award Station N4G

The Georgia QSO Party on 4/9 and 4/10 is almost here.  If you have somehow
missed the details, you can read all about it at http://gqp.contesting.com/
.  THE SEDXC, one of the long time sponsors of the event, is participating
in the GAQP's 50th celebration in a special way--providing one of the 1X1
calls, N4G,  which is needed to qualify for the GEORGIA award described at
the link above.  

We have stations lined up for various band/modes to make N4G available to
stations working to receive this award, but a number of prime slots for
either cw, SSB, or both are still available, and we need additional SEDXC
members to fill them.    You can be on the air as N4G throughout the entire
GAQP or during the limited time you have available.  And you can also
participate using your personal call. 

 

If you are an SEDXC member who will be operating from a Georgia QTH during
the Party and  can help us fill the remaining slots, please contact me at
w2wg at comcast.net or 770-594-8079.  

 

Also, please do NOT operate as N4G unless you sign up as an authorized user
of the N4G call.  That would not be consistent with terms of this temporary
special event license and would also cause log processing problems.

 

Please help us make the SEDXC commitment to the GEORGIA award a success.
