Ferrite beads are not a magical cure-all. Depending on the particular bead,
they only add a few dozen to a few hundred ohms of series impedance. How
well they work, and what they do and do not do, depends on the entire system
(including lead lengths and RF impedances).
In some cases a few ohms can make a big difference, in other cases adding
1000 ohms or more can actually make things worse!

Notice on that page, my lightning protection of consumer gear also works for
