Some time back I posted some info about a mic from Ant Lion I was using on my Bose QC15 headset.  Today I was directed to one that is much more elegant option for the QC15 in that the mic and headset cord are all one cord and the mic plugs into the jack on the QC15..  http://www.headsetbuddy.com/clear-mic-noise-canceling-microphone-for-bose-qc15-headphones/
I might consider changing at some point but I am happy with the Ant Lion, I just had to lace the mic cord onto the headset line.
