[SEDXC] Mt. Athos

Several visiting operators made the Mt. Athos Council and Greek Telecommunications mad as they just went on the property and operated their call portable SV. Frank DL7FT (SK) and later a DJ6 did this and caused quite a fuss. It seems the European CEPT license does not cover Mt. Athos.

I was told by George SV1AB that only Monk Appolla and properly licernsed Greek Hams could count for Mt. Athos. I have a DL7FT card for 15 meters but never sent it in. Frank DL7FT did pull a coup by operating as ZA2RPS in the 1970's.
