I had a goal of trying to work the VK0  on 160 and had every antenna I could come up with to do the job but the propagation to this area never materialized.  My 160 station is a round trip of 90 miles from the home QTH so drove that every night for the full time they were there.  I don’t know of anyone in the ATL area that worked them on 160.  Basically never heard anything although they were pretty good copy on 80.  All the other call areas did pretty well especially the 1 area.  I can only guess that mountain near them was killing some of the angles for our area.  Maybe I can hold out another 15 years or so for another trip but if they use the same area for their antennas I probably still will not hear them.
