Mike,

Thanks for the comprehensive analysis. I did hear a few local folks work
30M last evening around midnight, but as you said, nothing else. I'll try
the morning now based on your report...and hope for the best. Thanks again!

Last night was dismal other than some 30 M action. 80 and 160 very poor.
This morning they were heard here on 17 CW first around 1130, also heard 15
SSB the best band, and 12 CW.. This is the first time I have heard them on
17 and think it is because they put up a vertical dipole array like the did
on 15. I never heard them with their beams on either of those band so
hopefully they can put up more of them. They were on 15 RTTY but no
copiable here so maybe they had the beam on RTTY and the array on SSB. They
were easy on 15 SSB working lots of 4s. 12 M CW was the next strongest band
with 17 CW being a little lower. Everything was gone by a little after
1300. 15 SSB was the last to fade out with 12 and 17 going by 1245. Storm
front moving in for the next two day weather wise so QRN on the low bands
will be possibly worse than it has been if that is possible.
