[SEDXC] FT51R Yaesu

Anyone familiar with a Yaesu FT51R HT.  I have a battery charger NC38B that is for that radio but I can find a place to plug it into the radio.  The only jack it would fit is the Mic jack.  Do they charge through that?  I have the manual but they do not show anything about connecting a charger although they mention it.  Description does not mention a place to plug the charger into the radio.  Searched the web but nothing there.
