This Week's Contests:
1. Straight Key Century Club Week Day Sprint (SKS). Tuesday night
local date, 0000-0200Z Wed. 160-10M CW. Use mechanical key. Exchange:
RST, SPC, Name, SKCC# or "NONE." Bonus station is K3MSB.
Look up from 050 kHz, lower on 160M.
2. Phone Fray. Every Tuesday night local date. 0230-0259Z Wed. 15,
20, 40, 80, 160M SSB. 100W maximum power. Exchange: Name + SPC. Mults
count by band. Look around 21325, 14250, 7175, 3800, and 1875 kHz.
3. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wednesday. Three separate one-hour
mini-tests. 1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date). 160-10M CW.
Exchange: Name + CWOps# or SPC. Look around 028 to 045 kHz on each
band, lower on 160M.
4. 432 MHz Spring Sprint. 1900-2300 local time Wednesday. 432 mHz any
mode. Exchange: r character grid square.
5. NCCC RTTY Sprint. Every Thursday night local date, 0145-0215Z
Friday. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY. 100W max power. Exchange: both
calls, #, name, SPC. Same band duplicate QSOs OK after one intervening
QSO. Look around 080 kHz and up from 1850 kHz on 160M.
6. NCCC NS Sprint. Every Thursday night local date. 0230-0259Z
Friday. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M CW. 100W max power. Exchange: both
calls, #, name, SPC. No same band duplicate QSOs allowed. Look around
040 kHz and up from 1815 kHz on 160M.
7. 10-10 International Spring Contest, Digital. 0001Z Sat to 2359Z
Sun. 10M Digital. Exchange: Name + 10-10# ( or "0") + SPC. Don't
write 10M off. Last week in the CW MM contest, there was a lot of
activity from South America with good signals.
8. SP (Poland) DX RTTY Contest. 1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun. 80-10M RTTY.
Exchange: RST + QSO# or Poland one-letter province.
9. Helvetia (Switzerland) Contest. 1300Z Sat to 1300Z Sun. 160-10M
CW, SSB, Dig. Exchange: RS(T) + serial # or two letter HB Canton.
Maximum operating time 18 hours with two off periods.
10. Florida QSO Party. 1600Z Sat to 0159Z Sun; 1200-2159Z Sun. 40-10M
CW, Ph. (That's right--no 80M.) Exchange: RS(T) + S/P/DX prefix or FL
county. There are power mults. I expect more 40M activity during the
days if 20M is poor. KU8E, KC4HW, NO5W and many FL native mobilers will
be QRV. Lot of fun in this one if we have propagation to FL.
11. BARTG Sprint 75. Sunday 1700Z to 2159Z. 80-10M 75 baud RTTY.
Exchange: serial #.
12. Tuesday. Phone Fray. See #2 above.
13. Wednesday. CWTs. See #3 above.
Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. 73, John,
K4BAI.
