Thomas Powell, K4TNP, works out of the Macon District Office, of Georgia Power. He was the resident expert on RFI for Central Georgia. Although, I've heard that he no longer has that responsibility. You might try calling the Macon District Office and try to talk with Thomas. He has helped several in the area. If it is out of his area, he probably can tell us who can help.

Subject: [SEDXC] Power Line Noise
For the past 20 years I have had a good relationship with Georgia Power. As
long as I found the offending pole, I would report it to customer service
and they would fix it in 1 or 2 days. But now something has changed. I have
a pole that is generating a lot of interference (same one as 6 months ago
that was fixed) but now they seem confused that a power pole can create RFI.
I even had an engineer call me up to say it can't happen.
Does anyone have a contact with Georgia Power that knows what power pole
arcing RFI is?
