This Week's Contests:

1.  Phone Fray.  Every Tuesday night local date.  0230-0259Z Wed,  15, 
20, 40, 80, 160M SSB.  100W max power.  No QSY rule.  Exchange:  Name + 
SPC.  Look around 21325, 14250, 7175, 3800, 1875 kHz.  This one will be 
good practice for the NAQP SSB two weeks after this weekend.

2.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests.  Every Wednesday local date.  Three 
separate one-hour mini-tests.  1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thurs UTC date). 
160-10M CW.  Exchange:  Name + CWOps # or SPC.  Look around 028 to 047 
kHz on each band.  Lower on 160M.

3.  Straight Key Century Club Europe Sprint.  1900-2100Z Thursday. 
160-10M CW.  Use mechanical key.  Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, SKCC# or "NONE."

4.  QRP Fox Hunt.  Thursday local date, 0100-0230Z Friday.  Two foxes 
will be calling between 14050 and 14070 kHz.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, 
Power.  Work only the two foxes and do not spot their frequencies.  5W 
maximum  power.  The two foxes this week and AJ1DM, JOHN, RI and K0DTJ, 
BRIAN, CA.  Hope we will have good propagation to RI and CA.

5.  NCCC RTTY Sprint.  Every Thursday local date.  0145-0215Z Friday. 
15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY.  100W maximum power.  One/one kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 080 kHz on each band 
plus up from 1805 kHz.  Same band dupes OK after one intervening QSO.

6.  NCCC NS Sprint.  Every Thursday local date.  0230-0259Z Friday.  15, 
20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W maximum power.  One/one kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz and up from 
1815 kHz.  No same band dupes permitted.

7.  10-10 International Summer Contest, SSB.  0001Z Sat to 2359Z Sun. 
10M SSB.  Exchange:  Name + 10-10# or "0" + SPC.

8.  North American QSO Party, CW.  1800Z Sat to 0559Z Sun.  10 hours 
maximum for single ops.  Off periods must be at least 30 minutes. 
160-10M CW.  Exchange:  Name + SPC.  100W maximum power.  Mults count 
per band.  SECC will have team(s).  Please advise if you want to join 
K4BAI, N4GG, N4IQ, NJ8J, WF4W, and AA4LR.  I will register the team(s) 
before the start of the contest period.  This is a lot of fun with 
activity on all open bands.

9.  South Africa Radio League HF Phone Contest.  1400-1700Z Sunday.  20, 
40, 80M SSB.  Exchange:  RS + serial #.  I think you work only Southern 
African stations, viz.  ZR/ZS, 3DA, C9, Z2, 9J, A2, V5, ZD9.

10.  Adventure Radio Society August Spartan Sprint.  Held on the first 
Monday of every month local date.  0100-0300Z Tuesday.  80-10M CW.  5W 
maximum power.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Power.  Look around 14060, 7030, 
7040, 3560 kHz.

12.  CWTs.  See #2 above.
