*Well after the strange day on 6 M yesterday I was holding my breath for 
today.  It did not disappoint.  I started decoding  EU about 8 AM.  
Friends I was texting on the GA coast had been working EU for 45 mins at 
that time. It was crazy when got into full swing.  I had several EU 
coming back at each CQ.  Most of the DX to DX appeared to be on 50323 so 
I stayed there for a while but saw 9K2 and A4 spotted on 313 so I 
switched over to that to see if I could copy them. I did see both on 
occasion and would call them for a while but never made any headway with 
them.  I think they are plagued by EU when they come on and we take a 
back seat.*

*Then a spot came over of ZA/OG2M, on CW.  This turns out to be a group 
headed up by Martti Lane. I tuned down there and after a few mins found 
them with a solid 559 signal.  One call and we're back to 323.  That was 
a new country on 6 for me.

*Prop shifted around in EU from north to south but never went deep to 
HA, SP , OK etc. Several SV heard.  Saw decodes on, GU, GD, G, DL, LY, 
PA, ON, S5, I, IS, 9K, A4, EA, CT, EA8, EA9, EA6, LX, maybe some 
others.  This lasted til around 1500 GMT.  After that things slacked off 
and on into the afternoon.  Up around 2100 it tried to rebound but just 
not much to be seen. There were several EA8 on late in the afternoon.  A 
friend N3XX was hearing and working a lot of stuff around sundown I 
could not hear and he is about 20 miles away.  That is something you 
will learn on 6 M, your neighbor a few miles can be hearing entirely 
different things than you are.  So we'll see if we are lucky enough to 
wake up to EU tomorrow and Asia. *
