I am looking for a HT that will receive AM mode on the 400 Mhz area even as low at 300 Mhz. is okay. I understand the Yaesu VX5R which is no longer in production can do that along with the VX6.. I have seen some used VX5R units on Ebay which would suit me better than a new VX6R. If someone knows a better option I would be interested. 73 Mike K4PI
