1. Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint. Every first Monday local
date. 0100-0300Z Tuesday (Mon night local date). 80-10M CW. 5W max
power. Exchange: RST + SPC + power.
2. Phone Fray. Every Tuesday night local date. 0230-0259Z Wed. 15,
20, 40, 80, 160M SSB. 100W maximum power. Exchange: Name + SPC.
Mults count per band. No QSY rule. Look around 21325, 14250, 7175,
3800, 1875 kHz.
3. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wednesday local date. Three
separate one-hour Mini-Tests. 160-10M CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps# or
SPC. Look around 023 to 047 kHz and lower on 160M.
4. 432 MHz Fall Sprint. 1900-2300 local time, Wed. 432 mHz any mode.
Exchange: 4-digit grid square.
5. Straight Key Century Club Europe Sprint. 1900-2100 Thursday.
160-10M CW. Use mechanical key. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, SKCC# or
"NONE."
6. NCCC RTTY Sprint. Every Thursday local date. 0145-0215 kHz Fri.
15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY. Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. 100W
max power. Same band dupes OK after one intervening QSO. Look around
080 kHz and up from 1805 kHz on 160M. One/one kHz QSY rule.
7. NCCC NS Sprint. Every Thursday local date. 0230-0259Z Friday. 15,
20, 40, 80, 160M CW. Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. 100W max
power. No same band dupes permitted. Look around 040 kHz and up from
1815 kHz on 160M.
8. TRC DX Contest. 0600Z Sat to 1800Z Sun. 80-10M CW, SSB. Exchange:
RST + serial # (+ "TRC" for TRC members). Work everyone.
9. Oceania DX Contest, Phone. 0800Z Sat to 0800Z Sun. 160-10M Phone.
Exchange: RS + serial #. Work only Oceania stations.
10. Russian World Wide Digital Contest. 1200Z Sat to 1159Z Sun.
160-10M RTTY, BPSK63. Exchange: RST + 2 character Russian Oblast code
or QSO#. Work everyone. There is a team competition.
11. California QSO Party. 1600Z Sat to 2200Z Sun. 160 - 20M CW,
Phone. Exchange: serial # + S/VE/DX or CA county. This is the biggest
QSO party of the year. There are a lot of county expeditions and a few
mobiles most years. All CA counties are active each year. They give
nice prizes for top 20 CA and top 20 out-of-state scores.
12. FISTS Fall Slow Speed Sprint. 1700-2100Z Sat. 80-10M CW. 100W max
power. Speeds 13 WPM and below. Exchange: RST + SPC + name + FISTS#.
13. Straight Key Century Club QSO Party. This is a new one. 1800Z Sat
to 1800Z Sun. Use a mechanical key. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, 4 digit
grid square. SKCC # is optional. Non members cannot work non members
for credit. Members send "CQ SKQ" and non-members send "CQ NSK." This
may not be a good weekend to add a 24 hour straight key/bug QSO party,
but I wish them luck.
14. RSGB (UK) DX Contest. 0500Z to 2300Z Sun. 80-10M CW, SSB.
Exchange: RST + serial #. Work everyone.
15. Peanut Power QRP Sprint. Sponsored by North GA QRP Group.
2200-2359Z Sun. 40, 20, 15M CW, SSB. Exchange: RST, SPC, peanut power
# or output power. Get your peanut power number prior to the contest
period. Any power may be permitted. See rules for your category. 5W
QRP home station, such as mine, is a "roasted peanut" station.

17. 10-10 International 10-10 Day Sprint. This is 24 hours of Wed
October 10 every year. 10M any mode. Exchange: RS(T) + 10-10# or "0"
+ SPC.
18. North American QRP CW Club October Sprint. 0030-0230Z Wed (Tuesday
night local date). 20, 40, 80M CW. 5W max power. Exchange: RST + SPC
+ NAQCC# or power. NAQCC will be celebrating its anniversary all week
by having QRP stations signing special calls like N1A, N2A, N3A, N4A,
etc. I will be signing N4A during some part of the week, but not in the
Sprint. See if you can work all ten anniversary stations in the sprint.
During the sprint, you can double your score for use of a hand key and 1
1/2 times your score for use of a bug.
