Hey, Lar, well, today wasn't quite as bad...sunny all day with cloud build-up 
until around 6:00 PM, then all hell broke loose for 15 minutes to a half 
hour. I disconnect
everything when it's threatening...I've lost several modems to storms, never 
any ham gear.
As for sending it your way, well, I would, but there's nothing left after 
Mother Nature's done her thing in NC!!! I've lost several ornamental shrubs 
to the drought, and my (expensive) Japanese maple is threatened...it's really 
sad. We're praying for a decent monsoon!!!
