You've done a fine job over the years, Jeff. Thanks for cheerleading. I'm
sorry I didn't participate in recent contests as a team member, but I had a
bad experience on a team where my performance was less than "stellar" and
made to feel like I'd let the team down. Thus my lack of enthusiasm when
asked to join again!
When I compete against myself, I can be my own judge...
Thanks for the Q's this weekend.
73,
Bert (a.k.a. K1IMI/N4CW)

It looks like the idea of the Southeast Sprint Coalition is dead. Despite
trying to form teams more than a couple weeks before the CW sprint some of
the usual people who have joined in the past chose to join the newly formed
Ad Hoc Contesters sprint team instead. For the last couple CW sprints it
has
got harder and harder to recruit people to join the teams. Too bad because
the late Bill Fisher thought of this idea of forming a sprint team(s) with
the members representing Southeast USA and I have tried to keep it going
since he passed away. We had some pretty good teams in the past and even
won
the team competition one time. In the future I will no longer bother to try
to form a team(s).
