This Week's Contests:

1.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Test.  Every Wednesday.  Three separate mini 
tests.  1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date).  160-10M CW.  Exchange: 
  Name + CWOps # or SPC.  Look around 028 to 045 kHz plus up from 1815 
kHz.  This week only:  20 WPM Maximum speed to welcome latest CW Academy 
graduates.

2.  NCCC RTTY Sprint.  Friday 0145-0215Z (Thursday night local time). 
15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY.  100W maximum power.  one/one kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name SPC.  Look around 080 kHz and up from 
1850 kHz.  Same band dupes OK after one intervening QSO.

3.  QRP Fox Hunt.  80 meters.  0200-0330Z Friday (Thursday night local 
date).  Two QRP Foxes (WX2S, Steve, NJ and N0UR, Jim, MN) will be 
calling between 3550 and 3570 kHz.  5W maximum power.  Do not spot the 
foxes' frequencies.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power.  Work only the 
two foxes.

4.  NCCC NS Sprint.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local date).  15, 
20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  Maximum power 100W.  One/one kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Same band dupes do not count.

5.  RSGB Commonwealth Contest.  This is a closed contest for British 
Commonwealth countries only.  You will hear them calling "CQ BERU."  10Z 
Sat to 10Z Sun, 80-10M CW only.  USA stations may not participate 
because we won our independence from Britain.

6.  Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprintathon.  1200Z Sat to 2400Z 
Sunday (24 hours maximum).  160-6M CW.  Use mechanical key only. 
Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, SKCC# or "NONE."  Bonus points to honor 
"March Madness."  See web site for complicated scoring rules.

7.  F9AA Cup, SSB.  1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun. 160-10M SSB.  Exchange:  RS 
+ serial #.  Bonus points for each QSO with F8QRC.

8. South American 10 Meter Contest.  1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun.  10M CW, 
SSB.  Exchange:  RS(T) + CQ Zone.  Work anyone for points except same 
country QSOs.

9.  Stew Perry Spring Topband Distance Challenge.  1500Z Sat to 1500Z 
Sun (14 hours maximum time).  Exchange:  4 character grid square.  160M CW.

10.  Oklahoma QSO Party.  1500Z Sat to 0200Z Sun; 1400-2000Z Sun.  80-6M 
CW, Ph, Dig.  Exchange:  RS(T) + SPC or OK county.

11.  Quarter Century Wireless Association QSO Party.  1800Z Sat to 1800Z 
Sun.  160-6M CW/Dig, Phone.  Exchange:  Last two digits of year first 
licensed + Name + QCWA Chapter # or SPC.  You may work members and non 
members alike.

12.  Tesla Memorial HF CW Contest.  180Z Sat to 0559Z Sun.  80M CW. 
Exchange:  RST + Serial # + 4 character grid square.

13.  Idaho QSO Party.  1900Z Sat to 1900Z Sun.  160-10M Cw, Ph, Dig. 
Exchange:  RS(T) + SPC or ID county.

14.  QRPARCI Spring Thaw SSB Sprint.  2000-2359Z Sat.  160-10M SSB. 
Exchange:  RS + SPC + ARCI # or power.

15.  North American Sprint, RTTY.  0000-0400Z Sunday (Saturday night 
local date).  20, 40, 80M RTTY.  Exchange:  both calls, #, Name, SPC. 
One/5 kHz QSY rule.  Teams may be registered of two to five members.  I 
will be glad to register an SECC team for this NAQP RTTY Sprint, but I 
must register the team by 11 PM local time ths Friday night, since I 
will be unable to do so on Saturday.  If you will be on such a team, 
e-mail me right away.  If there is enough for at least once team, I will 
send a copy of the team registration to the SECC reflector and any team 
member not on the reflector.  YOu may ask your friends to join the 
team(s) as there is no membership or geographical requirement.

16. Wisconsin QSO Party.  1800Z Sunday to 0100Z Monday.  All bands 
except WARC (and I assume 60M).  Cw/Dig, Phone.  Bonus points for QSOs 
with W9FK.

17.  QRP Fox Hunt 40M Tuesday night local date, 0200-0330Z Wednesday. 
Same rules as for 80M on Thursday night except the Foxes are scheduled 
to be Dave, N1IX, NH and Dave, K5IX, TX.

18.  Phone Fray. Every Tuesday night local date.  0230-0259Z Wed.  15, 
20, 40, 80, 160M SSB.  100W maximum power.  Mults count per band. 
Exchange:  Name + SPC.  No QSY rule.

19. CWTs Wednesday.  See #1 above.
