above 902 mHz any mode. Exchange: 6 character grid square.
9. ARI (Italy) International DX Contest. 1200Z Sat to 1159Z Sun.
80-10M CW, Ph, RTTY. Exchange: RS(T) + serial # or 2 letter Italian
province. Work everyone. This is a pretty popular contest, at least on CW.
10. 7th Call Arwa QSO Party. 1300Z Sat to 0700Z Sun. 160-10M CW, Ph,
Dig (No FT8). Exchange: RS(T) + 5 letter State County Code for 7th
area stations (such as AZPIN) and RS(T) + S/P/DX for stations outside
the 7th Call Area. This is always a very popular QSO Party and covers a
lot of counties. There are usually mobiles active.
11. Indiana QSO Party. 1500Z Sat to 0300Z Sun. 160-10M Ph, CW.
Exchange: RS(T) + S/P/DX or Indiana county.
12. Delaware QSO Party. 1700Z Sat to 2400Z Sun. 160M-VHF. CW, Ph,
Dig/RTTY. Exchange: RS(T) + DE county or S/P/DX.
13. New England QSO Party. 2000Z Sat to 0500Z Sun; 1300Z to 2400Z Sun.
80-10M. Ph, CW/Dig. Exchange: RS(T) + S/P/DX or New England County
+ State. In this one the county comes first and the state second. There
are usually several mobiles active. I suppose that will depend on their
weather.
NOTE: For these four QSO parties, there is supposed to be some way to
set up the N1MM logger and log all four QSO parties together and submit
the log to all sponsors, who will extract only their QSOs. I have never
tried to do that. If someone who reads this understands how to do it,
please post a tutorial. My experience is that DE QP doesn't actually
participate in that, but maybe that is different this year. It would
make logging and log submission easier, but I don't know how you would
post a claimed score to 3830. I'll probably just set up four QSO party
files and switch between them depending on what area I am trying to work
at the time.
14. FISTS Spring Slow Speed Sprint. 1700-2100Z Sat. 80-10M CW. Keep
you speed to 13 WPM max. Exchange: RST + SPC + Name + FISTS# or power.
Activity is around 058 kHz on each band. Power limited to 100W max.
15. Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint. Monday night local date,
0100-0300Z Tuesday. 80-10M CW. 5W max power. Exchange: RST + SPC +
power.
Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend. 73, John, K4BAI.
