1.  222 MHz Fall Sprint.  1900-2300 local time, Tuesday, October 1.  222 
MHz any mode.  Exchange:  Four character grid square.

2.  Phone Fray.  Every Tuesday local date.  0230-0259Z Wed,  15, 20, 40, 
80, 160M SSB.  100W maximum power. Exchange:  Name + SPC.  No QSY rule. 
Mults count per band.  Use your NAQP SSB contest module.  Look around 
21325, 14250, 7175, 3800, and 1875 kHz.

3.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests.  Every Wednesday local date.  Four 
separate one-hour mini-tests.  1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z.  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  Name + CWOps# or SPC.  Look around 028 to 048 kHz on each 
band and lower on 160M.

4.  NCCC RTTY Sprint.  Every Thursday night local date.  0145-0215Z 
Friday.  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY.  100W max power.  Exchange:  both 
calls, #, name, SPC.  One/one kHz QSY rule.  Same band dupes OK after 
one intervening QSO.  Look around 080-082 kHz on each band plus up from 
1805 kHz on 160M.

5.  NCCC NS Sprint.  Every Thursday night local date.  0230-0259Z 
Friday.  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W max power.  Exchange:  both 
calls, #, name, SPC.  One/one kHz QSY rule.  No same band dupes 
permitted.  Look around 040 to 046 kHz on each band and lower on 160M.

6.  TRC DX Contest.  0600Z Sat to 1800Z Sun.  80-10M CW, SSB.  Exchange: 
  RS(T) + serial # + TRC member # if you are a member.  Work everyone.

7.  Oceania DX Contest, Phone.  0800Z Sat to 0800Z Sun.  160-10M Phone. 
Exchange:  RS + serial #.  Work only Oceania stations.

8.  Russian World Wide Digital Contest.  1200Z Sat to 1159Z Sun. 160-10M 
BPSK and RTTY.  Exchange:  RST + 2 character Russian oblast or serial #. 
  Work everyone.

9.  California QSO Party.  1600Z Sat to 2200Z Sun.  160-10M Cw, PHone. 
Exchange: serial # + S/VE/DX or CA county.  K0EJ will be portable in a 
rare CA county.  There is a club aggregate score competition so put your 
club in the header of your Cabrillo file.  There are nice prizes 
(bottles of wine) for the top 20 scores instate and out of state.   This 
is one of the oldest and probably the most popular state QSO party. 
There are a lot of CA stations to work on any open band.

10.  NEW!  Straight Key Century Club QSO Party.  1800Z Sat to 1800Z Sun. 
  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name + four character grid square.   All bands 
except WARC and 60M, CW.  Use a mechanical key.  Work everyone.

10.5.  Date Change.  South American Sprint, CW.  2100-2359Z Sat.  20, 
40M CW.  1/3 kHz QSY rule.  Work everyone.

11.  RSGB (Great Britain) DX Contest.  0500Z to 2300Z Sun.  80-10M CW, 
SSB.  Exchange:  RS(T) + serial #.  Work anyone for points.

12.  Peanut Power QRP Sprint.  2200-2359Z Sun.  40, 20, 15M CW, SSB. 
Exchange:  RST + SPC + peanut # or power.  Work everyone.  Sponsored by 
North GA QRP Club.

13.  Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint.  0100-0300Z Tuesday (Monday 
night local date).  80-10M CW.  5W max power.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Power.

14.  North American QRP CW Club October Sprint.  0030 to 0230Z Wed Oct 9 
(Tuesday night local date).  20, 40, 80M CW.  5W max power.  Exchange: 
RST + SPC + NAQCC# or power.  Multiply your score by two for use of a 
hand key and by 1 1/2 if you use a bug or sideswiper.

Also, starting at 0000Z October 6 (Saturday night local date), the North 
American QRP CW Club is celebrating its 15th anniversary by having its 
members sign the call N3A/1 and on through all the call areas.  I will 
be one of the members signing N3A/4.  This goes for one week.  So call 
any you hear during that time.

We finally got some rain Saturday night, but need a lot more.  Hot temps 
are predicted to continue through most of next week.
