1. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wednesday local date. Three
separate one-hour mini-tests. 1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date).
160-10M CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps# or SPC. Look around 7028 to 7048
kHz on the higher bands and below 1830 on 160M.
2. NCCC RTTY Sprint. Every Thursday night local date. 0145-0215Z
Friday. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY. 100W max power. One/one kHz QSY
rule, Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. Same band dupes OK after
one intervening QSO. Look around 080 to 082 kHz on the higher bands and
up from 1805 kHz on 160M.
3. NCCC NS Sprint. Every Thursday night local date. 0230-0259Z
Friday. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M CW. 100W max power. One/one kHz QSY
rule. Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. No same band dupes
permitted. Look around 040 kHz and lower on 160M.
4. QRP Fox Extravaganza. To celebrate the end of the Summer QRP Fox
Hunts, there will be a fox extravaganza. 0100-0230Z Friday (Thursday
night local date). 5W max power. Work all foxes and hounds. Exchange:
RST, SPC, Name, Power. Post results to QRP Fox Hunt reflector.
5. Worked All Europe (WAE) DX Contest, SSB. 48 hours of Sat/Sun UTC.
36 hours maximum operating time. 80-10M SSB. Exchange: RS + serial #.
You can get extra points by sending up to 10 QTCs to each station. QTC
consists of time, call, number of previous QSOs, each QTC to be sent
only once. There is also a club aggregate score competition, so be sure
to include your club name in the Cabrillo header of your log submitted.
6, First Class Operators Club (FOC) Bill Windle (BW) QSO Party. 24
hours of Saturday UTC dates. 160-VHF CW. Exchange: RST + Name + FOC#
if you have one.
7. South African Radio League Field Day. 1000Z Sat to 1000Z Sun.
160-10M CW, SSB, Digital. Exchange: RS(T) + # of transmitters +
category (see rules) + South African Province or "DX."
8. Texas QSO Party. 1400Z Sat to 0200Z Sun; 1400-2000Z Sun. All bands
except WARC, all modes. Exchange: RS(T) + SPC or TX county. This is a
very popular QSO party in the state with the most counties (257). There
are usually a lot of mobiles QRV, this year including AD4EB.
9. Alabama QSO Party. 1500Z Sat to 0300Z Sun. 80-10M CW, Ph.
Exchange: RS(T) + SPC or AL county. Please help support our neighbor
state to the west. KN4Y and W4AN will be /mobile and probably others.
Jeff, KU8E and I will be operating W4AN/M on CW only. This is the club
call of the South Eastern Contest Club, in memory of Bill Fisher, the
late holder of the call. We will try to be QRV on 40 and 20 during the
daylight hours and on 40 and 80 during the hours of darkness.
10. Russian Cup Digital Contest. 1500-1859Z Sat; 0600-0959Z Sun.
80-10M RTTY. Exchange: serial # + 4 character grid square.
11. ARRL September VHF QRP Party. 1800Z Sat to 0300Z Mon. 50 mHz and
up. Exchange: 4 character grid square. W4NH will be QRV from the
W4ZST QTH in Dahlonega and will be looking for QSOs on all VHF/UHF
bands. Only one QSO with each station per band, and not per mode.
12. NCJ North American Sprint, RTTY. 0000-0400Z Sun (Sat night local
date). 20,, 40, 80M RTTY. Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. There
is a team competition. If anyone wants to be on a team, please e-mail
me right away. I will register any such team(s) by late Friday.
13. BARTG Sprint 75. 1700-2059Z Sun. 80-10M 75 baud RTTY. Exchange:
serial #.
14. Flying Pigs QRP Club September Run for the Bacon. 0100-0300Z
Monday (Sunday night local date). 160-10M CW, 5W max power. Exchange:
RST + SPC + FP# or poewr.
15. Phone Fray. Every Tuesday night local date. 0230-0259Z Wed. 15,
20, 40, 80, 160M SSB. 100W max power. Exchange: Name + SPC. Mults
count per band. Use your NAQP SSB contest module. No QSY rule.
