[Skimmertalk] CW Skimmer +DX Monitor via LP Bridge

A common misconception is that CW Skimmer "controls" your K3's VFO
frequency via OmniRig, but it doesn't.  It simply outputs an "Announce"
message such as "Clicked on 14024.1" to the CW Skimmer TELNET stream, and
it is up to the logging program (or the VE3SUN software) to act on that "DX
cluster announce" message and issue commands to move the transceiver's VFO
to that frequency.  Essentially CW Skimmer only uses OmniRig to *read* the
K3's VFO frequency (when in 3 kHz Radio or Softrock-IF mode).  It doesn't
issue commands to *move* the K3 VFO.

HDSDR includes bi-directional OmniRig support so that the K3 VFO will track
whatever you click in HDSDR.  I don't know if DX Monitor does that, but it
could.  LP Bridge seems to have an option to control the K3 VFO, but it
doesn't seem to use OmniRig, so you have to start LP Bridge first so that
it can grab the radio's COM port and lock out OmniRig completely.  But you
still won't be able to click on the CW Skimmer waterfall to move the VFO to
that frequency.  Instead you use the band map in your logging program to
move the VFO to various spots.
