You may have noticed that RBN spots from your favorite cluster node have
started arriving with two different formats. This happens because a
number of nodes connect both to the RBN's ARC6 node and to its DXSpider
node, which does not carry the AB5K/CT1BOH spot filtering tags.
I have discussed this with AB5K, who advises that he does not see the
quality tags as a permanent part of the output of ACR6. They are there
for debugging, and will be removed when the beta process is completed.
This should mean that those of you who have written programs that rely
on the format of the Comment field (finding certain data in a certain
column) will only be inconvenienced for a limited time, and can connect
to the DXSpider node in the meantime.
