[Skimmertalk] Spots without calling CQ

Actually, this happens to me often and I know when I call CQ or not.  There seem to be a few skimmers out there that spot you if you are just in a QSO and having a normal exchange with "his de yourcall". I am not sure why that is, but it is happening in some cases.

I was spotted a few times last weekend but I am pretty sure I never called CQ.  I may have pressed the "CQ" button once by mistake.
Can anybody tell me how this can happen?
