Please could you expand on this ?
What “mods” to a standard RP ?
And why a 1:9 in front ?
My RP - is connected to a Cobweb (Homebrew) that sits under the TH7 about 9 m above it. I have a TT3G50 “Lightning protector” on the RP input Coax - to hopefully prevent RF damage when I am kicking out 500W CW (which is my normal band). So far it has survived 6 months like this…..
It is very nice to have a “private” RBN - especially in contests that do not prevent (hence the omni-directional cobb-webb)
