[Skimmertalk] The Ultimate Skimmer Antennas

My friend K3LR has temporarily re-positioned his monster antenna farm in
Western Pennsylvania for 6-band skimming (CW only) with the most sensitive
antennas imaginable.  If your skimmer picks up something on these bands
that the K3LR's skimmers miss, you're doing something right!

Here is Tim's summary:

We are using the same Perseus SDRs – but using new high powered NUC
computers – one for each band.

The antennas hooked to the SDR RXs are:

160- HIZ 8 circle in phase with HIZ 4 square – spaced 500 feet apart – both
aimed at Europe

80- Two full size four squares spaced 5/8 wavelength – both aimed at Europe

40- 4L Yagis:  260 feet aimed at 0 degrees, 190 feet aimed at 45 degrees,
120 feet aimed at 150 degrees. ALL FED

20- 6L Yagis:  230 feet aimed at 0 degrees, 170 feet aimed at 45 degrees,
110 feet aimed at 270 degrees, 50 feet aimed at 150 degrees. ALL FED

15- 7L Yagis: 160 feet aimed at 0 degrees, 120 feet aimed at 45 degrees, 80
feet aimed at 270 degrees, 40 feet aimed at 150 degrees. ALL FED

10- 8L Yagis:  215 feet aimed at 150 degrees, 80 feet aimed at 90 degrees,
50 feet aimed at 270 degrees. ALL FED
