Let's be charitable and call it intentional.  It's a result of a 
compromise between limited space on the "Status" tab, trying to show as 
much information as possible on one tab, and keeping clarity in the 
information presented.  Your nine segments should be shown on the "ini 
Files" tab.

 From what I can tell only the eight first frequency segments are displayed
in lower left corner of the status tab, regardless of how many actual
frequency segments you skim.

If you e.g. break up 40m into 7000-7039 and 7045-7070kHz, making a total of
nine skimmed frequency segments (still out of eight received) your highest
frequency segment (e.g. 28000-28070) will not be displayed.

Does anyone know if this is intentional or just an omission/defect? Or if I
have misunderstood something?
