That's right. I have heard from CTO that there is being a new STEMlab board in development for SDR purposes. It will have a  50ohm input, 16bit, zynq7020 and better clock.

A few days ago Red Pitaya announced that they have a new board with the
front-end circuitry meant for real wideband 50 ohm operation and with
two separate 16 bit A/D converters.  So far I could only find a press
release but no photo of the board nor a price.  Please assist in finding
those.
