Hi Jeff,
QS1Rs are pretty much unobtainable in working condition. Most QS1Rs
eventually fail due to component failure related to excessive heat,
especially the voltage regulator.
I'd highly recommend that you consider buying a Red Pitaya instead of
trying to find a working QS1R. The Red Pitaya receiver performance is very
similar, it handles 8 bands at 192 kHz instead of only 7, it uses 1 Gbps
Ethernet instead of USB, it has two antenna inputs that can be assigned to
any of the 8 receiver slices, and it probably costs less (new) than a
working QS1R. The only thing it doesn't do is work with CW Skimmer (the
older single-band version), but it works great with CW Skimmer *Server*,
RTTY Skimmer Server, and HDSDR (simultaneously) plus it can even be
reconfigured into a signal generator, an FT8 transceiver, a WSPR
transceiver, an oscilloscope, etc.
