Ignacy, I routinely run 1500 watts CW, using the same antennas that I
use for Skimming with my RP. Of course, that means that there is no
antenna on the RP when I'm transmitting. The device that I use for this
switching, an RX Audite, has extensive protections for both the
transceiver and the SDR, but no bandpass filtering. Not surprisingly,
when I transmit on a given band, Skimmer Server shows a lot of phantom
decoders on that band, but I have identified and blocked (on the Bad
Spots list in the Aggregator) all of the permutations of my call that
this produces.
As for the setup, someone who knows Linux should have no difficulty.
There are several useful guides to setup and operation on the RBN web site.
