I also use SkimCon like Jeff AC0C.  I have been using it for years.  Very
reliable and it really simplifies your feed to the RBN Aggregator, where it
combines your multiple skimmer instances.  Plus the real-time stats are
nice.  It's solid. Plus you can use callsign validation via a regular
expression if you want.  It simplifies having only one connection to the
RBN server feeds for multiple local dx cluster instances too. It's not the
bandwidth it saves, but it just makes things simple. Max NG7M (NC7J DX AR6
cluster instances and NG7M skimmer instances)
