"Those that have never owned Ten Tec."

I'll second this emotion.  I've owned over 20 different HF rigs --- low end
to high end.  Then I got an OMNI VI.  It will stay at my operating position
due to its superb receive performance and excellent ergonomics.
 I have asked myself many times why I did not try a Ten-Tec earlier.  I sure
would have saved a ton of money if I had.
