Paragon 585 Extended Transmit

Because the display doesn't take into account the CW offset, it
reads about 750 Hz low.  As a result, the transmitter is disabled
750 Hz above the bottom of the band.  Does anyone know of a modification
to enable extended transmit, or otherwise get around this problem?
