263 vs 263G VFO?

Hello,
  What are the differences between the 263 and the 263G remote VFOs? I am
guessing that the 263 was for the original Corsair, and that the 263G was
for the Corsair II. Mind you, I could be guessing wrong. Does the 263
operate with the Corsair II?
